Kenny Brimer: 100 Percent Skateboarder

Homie Jef Hartsel was part of the dozen or so in our crew that assembled in L.A. last week to bid farewell to Kenny, and Jef made the following tribute which came out amazing and we are all very stoked on it:

Exactly the way we all will remember Kenny, 100 percent skateboarder!

Check out more of Jef's stuff over at the EZ Ryder Originalz website in the blog section.

Want to say big up and massive mahalos to everyone that has been posting photos and tributes to our brother Kenny!
Check out a couple recent ones, one from our good friend Junji over at Soundboarding and also from our buddy Yong-Ki at The Solitary Arts.

Again, thanks so much for everybody's thoughts and prayers, I know the support is bringing a smile to Kenny's face and he's super stoked that everyone is gonna keep rolling for him!

Shred For Kenny

This past Sunday at A'ala Park there was a big get-together to skate and celebrate the life of our brother Kenny.
Super stoked that so many people came and it was rad to see a lot of heads that we haven't seen out in a while all sessioning together and having some drinks and barbeque.

Mahalo to all who rolled through to pay their respects and also big thanks to the Blue Hawaii crew for letting the whole park show up at their warehouse space in Kalihi afterwards.

Also really glad to see our homie Jordan over at Girl and Chocolate giving a big shout out to Kenny via Crailtap today, big mahalo and aloha bredren!

R.I.P. Kenny Brimer: 1973-2010 : Blaze Of Glory

This is dedicated, or some might say livicated to our fallen brother Kenneth Lawrence Murphy Brimer, who passed away early yesterday morning from complications that arose from his recent bone marrow transplant that was necessary for his battle against leukemia.

Everybody in his family and Lillie's are very grateful that so many of us were there on hand in California to see him and bid him farewell during his last days, and as you can imagine it was an incredibly difficult and emotional experience.

Like everyone else I can't even begin to put into words how much it hurt to see him go so I won't even try at this time.
Instead, I have gone through the literally hundreds and hundreds of pictures I have of Kenny in my collection that accumulated over the years from my camera as well as several more that were taken by other friends, so let's just celebrate this dude!

LOVE YOU, KENNY!

Seriously, this is just a small sampling of photos, there are so many more amazing shots and incredible memories.

ALSO, tomorrow night Sunday July 25th, 7PM at A'ala Park there will be a jam for Kenny.
Everybody please come down if you can for some skating, beverages, stories and shit talking all in the name of Kenny.
