First of all I have to say mahalo and どうも ありがと to my homie Masa in Tokyo for sending me a fat box of some of my favorite Japanese shit!
No, it's not porn or Shaka Shaka chicken, it's a stack of skate mags:



Haven't been to Japan for a little over a year now, seriously missing it right now but this helps to satisfy some of my cravings.
Also rad to see the homies in Japan all shredding and getting coverage!

My man Lui Araki and the Strush Wheels crew are working on their new video, can't wait to see this shit!!
The first one was pretty epic and I can only imagine what they have in store for this next offering, I mean they got Shinpei Ueno and Takahiro Morita on the team shredding as well as filming for this so its got to be on some top notch shit.


Stoked that the homie Venice Nogami a.k.a. Venix has an interview here talking about his Dorcus brand clothing line among other things.
Dude is triple O.G. in the Osaka scene and a super hardcore b-boy as well that really knows his hip-hop.

Also, Lui (in sunglasses) is down with Nitraid SB and is featured in their new DVD entitled A.N.T.I. (All Nitraid's Tokyo Incredibles), another video I'm jonesing to get my hands on.

One of the raddest things about this particular issue of SB from last year is the messages of hope sent to Japanese skaters by others all over the world after the earthquake and tsunami devastation that occured last March.
I had never seen these photos that Atiba Jefferson took of some of the baddest motherfuckers on four wheels taking the time to express wishes of hope and recovery for the nation of Japan, so rad!
